Marae

Marae joined the Sugar River Animal Hospital team as a Veterinary Assistant, bringing a lifelong love for animals and a strong background in pet care. Growing up on a farm in Hartland, Vermont, Marae was surrounded by animals from an early age, which inspired her passion for working with them.

Her professional experience includes two years at Pet Suites Board and Play, where she cared for dogs, served as a host, and specialized in dog training during her final months. As a skilled dog trainer, Marae enjoys helping pets and their owners build strong, positive relationships.

After spending two years in Florida gaining hands-on animal care experience, Marae returned to Hartland, Vermont, where she continues to follow her passion for animals. At home, she loves training her three dogs: Ekko, a Siberian Husky; Kai’sa, a Husky; and Blitz, a Mini Australian Shepherd.

Marae enjoys the constant learning opportunities that come with working with animals, and she is dedicated to providing the best care for pets in the Grantham, NH, community. Her expertise and enthusiasm make her an invaluable member of the Sugar River Animal Hospital team.
