Have you always wanted to work with animals but didn’t know how to get started? This may be your chance!
Sugar River Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinary assistant to join our team. No experience is necessary.
What does a veterinary assistant do?
A veterinary assistant helps to support veterinarians while they do appointments. They also help care for hospitalized patients. Once the basic skills of a veterinary assistant are mastered, there are opportunities for developing skills with assisting surgery and dentistry.
Why Us?
At Sugar River Animal Hospital we pride ourselves on working in a cohesive team environment and having a strong positive culture while treating our patients and clients like family.
Let’s face it, we often spend more time with our co-workers than we do with our actual families so why work in a toxic work environment?
Our team enjoys working in our beautiful brand new 7,000 sq ft building with all the bells and whistles. We have digital radiographs, a (dental suite including digital x-rays and full dental units), a therapy laser, ultrasound, full in-house Idexx lab suite, just to name a few of our toys. Sugar River Animal Hospital is also the first AAHA-accredited hospital and the only cat-friendly certified practice in the area.
