Julia

Julia joined the Sugar River Animal Hospital team as a Veterinary Assistant on September 9, 2024. She was drawn to the opportunity to join a practice that values hands-on training and welcomes individuals who are not yet certified technicians.

Julia and was born at Dartmouth but grew up in Shoreham, Vermont. She has spent her life between Vermont and Enfield, New Hampshire, before moving to Canaan, NH, where she now resides. Julia shares her life with three beloved dogs: Roxanne, a Doberman Pinscher, and Buster Brown and Tank, both mixed breeds.

In her free time, Julia enjoys outdoor activities, including swimming, hiking, and walking. What she finds most rewarding about working with animals is experiencing their unconditional love and empathizing with the anxiety they may feel when visiting the clinic. She strives to make every visit as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for both pets and their owners.
