Veterinarian
Dr. Chase graduated from the University of Maine in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2019. During her years in vet school, she was Fear Free certified. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Chase spent three years in Pennsylvania practicing small animal general medicine before moving to Grantham, to be closer to family.
When asked why she chose to be a veterinarian, Dr. Chase replied, I've always wanted to be a veterinarian. I like animals, problem-solving, and helping people. Even though it can be a difficult field to work in, I can't imagine doing anything else.
Dr. Chase’s interests include cytology and preventive medicine. Dr. Chase lives with her black lab mix, Aravis, and her two orange cats, Shasta and Corin. In her spare time, Dr. Chase enjoys reading (did you catch the Narnian naming theme?), hiking, learning the guitar, kid's ministry at Church, veterinary mission trips and spending time with family and friends.
